No Fear For Freedom: The Story of the Friendship 9

No Fear For Freedom: The Story of the Friendship 9 is a children's book based on a moment in the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s in the South. The book was written by Dr. Kimberly P. Johnson and captures the tale of the 1961 lunch counter sit-in that took place in downtown Rock Hill, South Carolina at the McCrory's Variety Store. They launched the "Jail, No Bail" strategy that revolutionized the movement!
