No Fear For Freedom: The Story of the Friendship 9 is a children's book based on a moment in the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s in the South. The book was written by Kimberly P. Johnson and captures the tale of the 1961 lunch counter sit-in that took place in downtown Rock Hill, South Carolina at the McCrory's Variety Store.
